Description: This qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace.
The QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) has been developed in conjunction with other AOs and supports employers to meet their requirements under Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Open First Aid at Work (Renew) course
Our Open First Aid at Work (renew) course is a popular first aid course that is suited to those who are looking at renewing their qualification before the expiry of their current qualification.
This first aid qualification is OFQUAL regulated and accredited by QNUK and is one of the larger awarding organisations for health & safety and first aid qualifications in the UK.
All regulated qualifications are nationally recognised and accepted throughout the UK and first aid at work is mapped to current HSE (first aid) and UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
First Aid at Work (renew) course will give your learners those essential skills and knowledge to renew their qualifications to be a first aiders in the workplace once again.
Revisiting and learning how to successfully manage an unconscious casualty who is breathing or not breathing. How to give lifesaving CPR and use an AED safely, confidently, and competently.
First aiders will learn and revisit how to successfully manage a casualty who may have a minor bleed, burn, or scald, also learning to manage conditions such as a casualty suffering from anaphylactic shock, seizures, asthma, heart attacks, angina, SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) strokes, diabetes, severe choking, poisoning, drowning, crushing injuries.
This is an intensive 2 day (12 tutor guided learning hours) course that is only available for first aid at work first aider looking at renewing their qualification.
First Aid Certificates:
On passing all practical assessment modules and the 40 MCQ papers at the end, successful learners will be awarded QNUK L3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) which will be valid for 3 years from the assessment date.
Each learner will receive;
- A4 OFQUAL regulated certificate
- A PDF copy of the certificate, ideal for files, etc.
- Plastic debit card size certificate for the wallet of the purse.
Certificates take on average 7 working days to reach us from our awarding organisation.
