Description: This qualification is the most popular first aid qualification that we do.
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is the choice of many employers to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Our QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirements of first aid regulations; typically those working in shops, offices, and other LOW risk working environments.
This qualification has the purpose of supporting a role in the workplace.
Open Emergency First Aid at Work:
Open Emergency First Aid at work is a very popular first aid qualification and is ideally suited to LOW risk or LOW hazard workplaces such as administration offices, small warehouses, public houses, restaurants, etc.
This OpenEmergency first aid at work qualification is OFQUALregulated and accredited by Qualifications Network UK one of the larger awarding organisations for health & safety and first aid qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
This qualification is widely recognised and accepted throughout the UK and is mapped to current HSE (first aid) and UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
Open Emergency First Aid at Work:
Open Emergency First Aid at Work course will give learners the skills, knowledge, confidence, and competence to be an emergency first aider in the workplace.
Learning how to successfully manage an unconscious casualty who is breathing or not breathing.
How to give lifesaving CPR and use an AED safely, confidently, and competently.
Emergency first aiders will learn how to successfully manage a casualty who has a minor bleed, burn, or scald. Also gaining the knowledge and skills to help a casualty who may be suffering from a severe choke, medical shock, or having a seizure.
First Aid Certificates:
On passing all practical assessment modules and the 15 MCQ papers at the end, successful learners will be awarded QNUK L3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) which will be valid for 3 years from the assessment date.
Each learner will receive;
- A4 OFQUAL regulated certificate
- A PDF copy of the certificate, ideal for files, etc.
- Plastic debit card size certificate for the wallet of the purse.
Certificates take on average 7 working days to reach us from our awarding organisation.
