The country has started some easing of the lockdown and some professions are going back to work once they have all the necessary guidelines and practices in place to ensure people are safe from potentially catching this COVID19.
First aid training providers are already getting calls from their customers to provide first aid training for their staff members.
It is not quite that easy though, the world has changed quite a bit since we were locked down.
Guidance gets issued by the government then Health and Safety Executive look at the guidance and how this can be implemented, and then a meeting takes place between HSE and The First Aid Quality Forum (each awarding organisation have a representative on the forum) to discuss the guidance and how it can be implemented.
Then the awarding organisation which in our case is Qualifications Network UK will give us the guidance and how we are to implement it in our approved centre.
Till we get the information on how we are to proceed we cannot offer any first aid training to anyone.
