First Aid at Work course will give learners those essential skills and knowledge to be a first aider in the workplace. Learning how to successfully manage an unconscious casualty who is breathing or not breathing. How to give lifesaving CPR and use an AED safely, confidently, and competently.
First aiders will learn how to successfully manage a casualty who may have a minor bleed, burn, or scald, also learning to manage conditions such as a casualty suffering from anaphylactic shock, seizures, asthma, heart attacks, angina, SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) strokes, diabetes, severe choking, poisoning, drowning, crushing injuries.
First aid at work learners will also learn how to safely manage a casualty who has sustained a neck, head, spinal injury, or has sustained broken bones, dislocation, or ligament injury.
